In the latest development of the ongoing safety saga, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has confirmed that video footage of the work done to the door plug of the aircraft involved in a blowout earlier this year is no longer in existence.
Last week, the Chairwoman of the safety agency appeared before the United States Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation. She gave updates on the current investigation into the door plug that failed during Alaska Airlines flight 1282, confirming that the agency was still seeking more evidence.
