In May 2013, international human rights organization, Global Exchange presented Wikileaks and Julian Assange with the People’s Choice Award at at the 11th Annual Human Rights Award and 25th Anniversary celebration. The Award was presented by Kiki Kapany, of the Julian Assange Legal Defense Committee, and accepted by whistleblower hero, Daniel Ellsberg.
